Open-Ended and Time-Limited Therapy

Therapy can be offered on either an open-ended or time-limited basis, depending on your needs and what you hope to gain from counselling.

Open-ended therapy provides the flexibility to explore issues at your own pace, without a set end date. This can be particularly helpful for exploring longer-standing patterns, deepening self-understanding, or supporting ongoing personal growth.

Time-limited therapy focuses on a specific issue or goal over an agreed number of sessions. This approach can offer structure and clarity while providing a focused space to explore challenges, develop new perspectives, and work towards meaningful change.

At our initial assessment session, we’ll discuss what feels most appropriate for you, and this can be reviewed at any point as your needs or circumstances change.
